Age of Conan developed by Funcom is probably the most graphically advanced mass multiplayer games out on the market at the moment. When you begin the game, Cimmeria will be the home to your chosen character from which there is 12 different character classes to choose from.

Conan is an adventurer's paradise, it offers so much variation in landscapes from giant cities to green meadows and giant pyramids. All of which hold deadly secrets or some other form of evil. Conan is aimed at a mature audience and some of its content is not suited to younger eyes; from the brutal grisly fatalities to a little nudity. Conan was reported to have a great launch with very little server downtime, which for when a game this size is extraordinary. When such games are first released teething issues are expected, although there are still bugs within the Age of Conan game, but you can expect these to be ironed out quickly.

What Conan does different from other MMO's on the market is a new way of bringing combat to the player. Instead of click on target and click on a skill, Conan has the player using combinations. Conan also delves into mounted combat which is a first for MMO's. Players can now charge into battle swinging their weapon of choice while riding there Killer Rhino or any other of the in-game mounts.

Age of Conan also has plenty of space to grow; the game offers its players a very interesting and exciting adventure, which is abundant with the fascinating lore of the Conan universe. The combat in Conan suits the more mature gamer and is one of the best RPG games to date. With that said the game does lack a little polish on some of the quests available and in certain parts of the game play. You may feel like you are repeating yourself a little too often, but given time Funcom will be adding more content to the game.
